A swatch book you can actually filter
Every photo has its place in the gallery: color, style, length and details help the client find the right design.
Nailfolio is an online nail portfolio where you prepare for every visit. Your client picks designs from your real work, messages you in Messages, and before the appointment you see her choices and the history of your recent visits.

Where the client decision slips away
Photo from the web
You open your own gallery and filter for designs that work. The conversation starts with what's possible, not with saying no.
Algorithm and reach
In Nailfolio every photo has a color, length and style. Your client narrows the choice instead of scrolling through post after post.
Client memory
An inspiration session gathers the photos and notes in one place. You see the client's plan before you start.
Before the client sits in the chair, she looks at your portfolio and picks a design for the visit.
Every photo has its place in the gallery: color, style, length and details help the client find the right design.
You message the client you're connected with, right inside Nailfolio Messages. What you agree on stays on her client card instead of getting lost in DMs or texts. The phone number on your public profile shows only when you decide to add it.
Show the QR code to your client or hang a printed one at your station. After a quick, passwordless sign-in she steps into your gallery. It's simpler than spelling out a profile name.
In the Gallery Strength section you see your next steps: adding photos, completing your profile and connecting with your first client. That way you know what to do before you show your profile to clients.
You pay for the tool, not per client. A full schedule doesn't raise your bill.
Choose photos that show range: nude, french, color, short, long and detailed designs.
Step 1 · 30 seconds per photo
Thanks to tags, the client narrows down her choice faster herself, instead of scrolling through a folder of photos.
Filters help the client decide
The client can enter your gallery during the visit, like designs and come back to them before the next one.
Salon and online in one move
At the next visit you see previous choices, notes and shared inspiration.

Inspiration sessions are a feature I did not know I needed, and now I do not work without them. The client gathers designs before the visit, adds notes, and I get a ready plan. No more 'maybe I will come up with something on the spot', I know what she is coming for and I have it saved in her history. Zero commission is a huge plus too, because with Fresha I used to hand over a cut of every new client. Here I pay a fixed amount and have peace of mind.
How many times did I dig through old messages just to remember what I did for her last time. In Nailfolio I pin a gallery to each client. Before the appointment I check her history and preferences, and I already know where to start. The client memory alone is worth the subscription.
The QR code is a real winner for me. Clients hate coming up with new passwords, and here they scan the code, sign in with one tap through Google, and have my work on their phone. I show it to them right in the chair and they browse on their own. The app is light and simple. The only thing I miss is the option to add my own logo to the gallery page, to make it feel more like mine.
I run a salon with two other girls, and before, whenever a client moved from one of us to another, we explained everything from scratch. The shared gallery and client history on the Studio plan fixed that completely. The monthly cost for a salon is really very little to me, considering that what we know about a client stays with us instead of leaving with the stylist.
My favorite part is the smart filters. I lost count of how many times a client came in with a Pinterest photo of gel on a short nail bed, while she has long almond nails and wants exactly that. Filtering by length and technique settles it in five minutes, the client only sees what I can actually do for her. My consultations got twice as short.
The free plan is great to start with, to get the idea, but my client limit would run out fast. I like that this is not yet another booking calendar competing with Booksy, but something completely different, a dedicated portfolio. I recommend it, especially to beginners, so they learn good order from day one.
I invest a lot in aesthetics, and it annoyed me that my best work disappeared in the Instagram algorithm, a new client only saw what the algorithm fed her. Nailfolio gives me control over what the client sees first, and my work looks much better here than in the grid. I miss the option to reorder photos by hand to put a highlight on top, but otherwise it makes a great impression.
A useful app. I like the smart filters most, and the fact that the portfolio remembers what I did for whom, clients are surprised when I show them the QR. One thing though: I really miss a desktop version. Sometimes I prefer to arrange the gallery on a big screen rather than on my phone. It is still worth it, since you do not take a cut from the visits.

On Instagram your work gets buried between stories, ads and the algorithm. In Nailfolio the client sees only your work and filters it by colour, style and nail length. But the portfolio is only the entrance: on top of it she picks her looks before the visit, while you prepare every appointment and remember what you did last time. Instagram cannot do that.
You use the full version of Pro for 30 days. If the plan doesn't win you over, you can cancel the subscription in the Stripe portal before the trial ends and pay nothing. Your photos, clients and data stay exactly as they are. You can always stay on the Free plan.
Your Free plan stays free forever. When you need more, there's the Pro plan for a flat monthly fee (less than a single gel manicure a month). You'll find the current pricing on the pricing page. Client inspiration sessions work on every plan.
The client doesn't have to learn a new app or invent a password. She scans your QR code, signs in with Google or an email link, and sends a connection request. You confirm it with a single tap, so you stay in control of access. Only then does she browse your full gallery. She can view the public profile even without signing in, straight from a link. Signing in itself takes seconds.
Complementary, not competitive. Booksy and Fresha look after your booking calendar. Nailfolio helps you prepare every appointment and remember your clients: the filtered portfolio is the entrance where she picks her looks before the visit, while you see her history and what you agreed last time. You can use both side by side, since they are different tools. See the full comparison with Booksy, Fresha and Instagram.
Your photos stay in your account, always. When you cancel a paid plan, the account returns to Free: 5 photos stay public, the rest wait in the archive. You can move back to a paid plan whenever you like, and everything is right where it was.
Your public profile with selected work is open to everyone and visible in Google, no account needed. The full gallery with filters, QR connection and inspiration sessions require the client to have the app and sign in, without a password, in seconds.
Yes. Just write to us before migrating and we'll help you move your photos without losing color, style or length tags. Setup takes 5 minutes after import.
No. Clients only see your work, filters and gallery. Never your subscription or invoices. The billing page and account settings stay entirely on your side. What you show clients is 100% in your control.
Yes. In the Messages tab you reply to a client you're connected with, without sharing a private number or Messenger. The phone number on your public profile is optional, you add it only if you want to.
