Nail stylists create art. We help you show it and remember your clients.
We help nail stylists show their work online, agree the look with each client before the visit and remember what you last did for her. No technical know-how, no high fees.

Mission
A professional tool for every nail artist: whether working solo or running a large salon.
We give nail stylists one place: a profile, a gallery of your work, preparation for every visit and a history of recent visits with each client.

Story
How it started
Know the feeling? A client shows you a photo from the internet of a design meant for long nails when hers are short and says 'I want exactly this'. You explain why it cannot be done, she is disappointed, and you are frustrated. The visit starts with a misunderstanding instead of creating something.
Instagram is not your portfolio.
On social media, your work gets lost between ads, stories and content an algorithm picks. And platforms for the beauty industry? They either cost a fortune, take a commission on every new client, or are designed for hairdressers and beauticians, not nail stylists.
Nailfolio was built from this need. You start with a nail portfolio you can filter by color, style and nail length, but that's just the entry point. Once you're connected, she browses your work and picks her inspiration before the appointment, so you both sit down at the chair already agreed on the look. And her client card keeps a history of recent visits, so you remember what you did for her and what she loved. One tool built from start to finish for nail stylists.
Three values
What drives us
The principles that guide us in every product and business decision.
Your work deserves more than a camera roll
Nailfolio is neither social media, where your photos get lost in the algorithm, nor a generic platform for every industry. It is built for nail stylists: a gallery with filters by color, style and length, plus a QR code in your salon. And that is only the start. On top of that gallery you prepare for each visit and remember what you last did for every client.
As simple as a phone photo
Adding a photo to your gallery takes 30 seconds, and you generate the QR code and show it to your client right from your phone. You don't need to be tech-savvy: if you can take a photo with your phone, you can handle Nailfolio.
100% photo ownership, always yours
We store data in the European Union, in compliance with GDPR. We do not sell your data and do not track you with marketing cookies. Your photos are yours: always, regardless of plan.
Milestones
A short history in dates
Nailfolio grows together with stylists, from the first product sketches to finished profiles and client history in salons.
2024
First product sketches
Theses verified: Instagram isn't a gallery, random inspiration from the internet sets unrealistic expectations, and no dedicated tool for stylists exists.
Early 2025
First prototype and tests
We built an MVP with gallery filters and a QR code. Three salons in Krakow tested whether clients actually scan the code at the chair.
Summer 2025
Legally ready and in Polish
Polish version finalized, terms, GDPR, EU data hosting. The app is legally and technically ready for Polish nail artists.
Q3 2026
Open launch for nail artists
Every nail stylist in Poland can create a free account. Gallery, QR code and client history, ready to work in 5 minutes.
Next stage
Czechia, Germany and English-speaking markets
We start with Czechia and German-speaking markets, then grow our presence in English-speaking markets to support stylists across Europe. A mobile app with a native camera for fast photo uploads joins too.
It started with a single photo of nails.
Every screen in Nailfolio grew out of conversations with stylists. This one shows how your client browses her stylist's work and picks inspiration before the visit.
Team
The Nailfolio team
Small, but focused. Every decision comes out of a conversation with stylists.

Michal
Founder · Product and code
App architecture, code, product decisions. Talks with nail artists and decides what to build next.
We built Nailfolio because in salons we kept seeing the same problem: stylists losing time explaining to clients that a design from the internet simply can't be done. We're building a tool with respect for the craft. Nailfolio doesn't broker sales and isn't a social network. It's your portfolio and your prep for every appointment in one place: you show exactly what you can do, and you keep a history of recent visits always at hand.

Early nail stylists
Nail artists who give feedback, report needs, and help shape the product's direction.
Behind Nailfolio is a small Polish team with roots in IT. We build the app with care for every detail, because we can't stand tools that add work instead of taking it away.
Product decisions are made in conversations with stylists: we listen, we respond, and we grow Nailfolio together with them.
Trust
A Polish company from Kraków, built with nail stylists. Data safe in the EU, independent, with no investors.
Frequent questions
Behind Nailfolio is Michał, the founder responsible for the app architecture, code and product decisions. He's supported by stylist consultants from Kraków, Warsaw and Wrocław who test every new feature before release. The whole team is Polish.
Booksy is a platform for booking appointments. Nailfolio is a nail portfolio with client history: color, style and length filters, a QR code at the salon, and inspiration sessions from clients. We solve different problems, so the two work well side by side.
We are independent, with no venture capital. We fund Nailfolio ourselves, and revenue from our paid plans is meant to cover the product's continued development. We make product decisions based on conversations with stylists, not on investors' expectations.
All data is stored in the European Union in line with GDPR. Neon database (EU), Cloudinary photos (EU), Stripe payments (EU). We do not sell data, we do not use marketing cookies and we do not share photos with third parties.
The app has supported three languages from the first version: Polish, English and German. Expansion to Czechia and German-speaking markets is planned after the Polish stylist base is stable.
