1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files saved on your device by the web browser when you visit websites. They help us ensure the correct functioning of the Service, remember your preferences, and analyse traffic to improve our services.
2. Essential browser storage (no session cookies)
The logged-in session token, consent settings, language and theme are stored in browser localStorage. When you sign in through an external provider, the browser also stores a temporary security cookie.

3. Analytical cookies
We use analytics tools (PostHog, as well as Google Analytics 4 loaded via Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity) only after you give consent in the cookie banner. They help us understand how you use the Service and improve the product. Analytics data is collected in anonymised form, and PostHog data is stored on servers in the EU. Without your consent, analytics is not loaded.
We set analytical cookies only after you give consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
4. Marketing cookies
Nailfolio does not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not show ads or share data with advertising companies.

5. How to manage cookies?
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or turn on notifications when they are saved. Nailfolio's current session uses a token in localStorage, but blocking cookies may interrupt sign-in through an external provider, which requires a temporary security cookie. Change your analytics consent under “Your consent”; blocking cookies in your browser does not change your saved choice.
