Stylists’ experiences with Nailfolio
I recommend it, especially to beginners, so they learn good order from day one.
The free plan is great to start with, to get the idea, but my client limit would run out fast. I like that this is not yet another booking calendar competing with Booksy, but something completely different, a dedicated portfolio.
How many times did I dig through old messages just to remember what I did for her last time. In Nailfolio I pin a gallery to each client. Before the appointment I check her history and preferences, and I already know where to start. The client memory alone is worth the subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Changes between paid plans take effect once the prorated difference is paid. If you switch to Free, your current paid plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
If your account is eligible for the one-time trial, it lasts 30 days and requires a card. After the trial, your selected plan becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel beforehand. We'll email you a reminder 7 days before it ends. Cancel during the trial to avoid a charge. Free Demo does not expire.
Stripe handles payments. You'll see the available methods in the payment window.
No. Your client scans the QR code and sends a connection request. After you approve it, she browses the full gallery and shares inspiration. You control access, and clients use the gallery and Inspiration Sessions free of charge.
With Free Demo, you can try the gallery and client connections. Pro gives you an unlimited gallery and client connections, plus visit history. See the plan comparison above for other differences.
The app connection is encrypted, and Stripe handles payments. See the Privacy Policy for information about external services and data processing.
Photos remain in your account. When the paid plan ends, Free Demo limits apply: the public profile shows up to 3 pinned styles, and adding photos beyond 5 is blocked. Connected clients retain gallery access.
Yes. You can enter your business details at checkout. You can find invoices in the billing section of your account.
With an active Studio or Scale plan, each stylist uses the plan's features on their own account. The salon profile shows pinned work from stylists who have chosen to participate, with each author credited. A client connected to one of them can see the full salon gallery and send an Inspiration Session or message to any participating stylist. Client cards and private notes are not shared.
